In many ways flowers are timeless beings. Different species of flowers flourish in different seasons; it is through the changing of time that we learn to appreciate their beauty. Realizing that this was the story we wanted to tell through Hus Sheng Floral Design, we designed their logo in the form of a monogram, the brand initials “H” and “S” interlacing like a bouquet. The monogram is then encircled by an oval to become an emblem that can be applied easily to different mediums.

We suggested to use Computer graphic to recreate different scene at the hidden gem in Hong Kong which is 100 year+ heritage and to create more interesting user experience to invite different visitor to be there. Even through there is lots of limitations at the heritage, we have prepared well of preproduction for site seeing, all the cinematography angle, computer graphic in post production to unveil the former of the heritage.

Chasing the Pearl takes its inspiration from Mr. Naoto Fukasawa’s design for the Tang Prize Medal. His design, in form and feel, radiates a sense of movement as it spirals upwards,
while evoking images of a dragon twisting and turning in flight. In Chinese tradition, the theme of a dragon chasing after a pearl is an analogy for the endless pursuit of wisdom. Mr. Fukasawa’s winning design captures that very idea—life, bursting with energy and burning with curiosity, pursues knowledge through the infinite frontier of the possible; altogether, it wonderfully encapsulates the spirit of the Tang Prize and pays tribute to the esteemed laureates.

The flash at the heart of the logo, where the lines of latitude and longitude intersect, represents the joining together of reason and emotion, balanced and diverse development. Ivory paper and transparent plastic convey an understated sense of futurism.
Taipei’s designation as the World Design Capital is a great honor for the nation’s design community, and an encouragement for Asian design. The excitement is building and spreading across.
