The overall identity draws upon European style, while also embedding characteristic Taiwanese elements. For example, the logo resembles the original Taiwanese soap packaging, integrated with an image of the classic cockscomb flower. “Ahua Soap” is a play on words in Chinese; “Hua” is Chinese for flower, and “Ahua” sounds like the Taiwanese word for grandmother (Ama).
