The 2018 Taipei Arts Festival – key visual interchanges the properties and characteristics of everyday objects to differentiate them from ordinary objects, giving them a unique existence. The festival was made harder to promote due to there being only three locations where the festival posters could be displayed, so it was decided that tote bags would be used as the key visual medium instead of posters. They were handed out in large quantities, and the people toting the bags became a point of visual convergence, symbolizing their participation in the festival.
