The poster is doing the same thing as the exhibition by translating traditional Wun Yiu characters into various modern art forms. We use the ‘deer, bird, flower’, underglazed blue illustrations found in Wun Yiu, as graphic elements. Pulling them out to merge with modern graphic design treatment is like giving them a new life, similar to opening up and promoting the porcelain history to the public.
