The packaging is designed for the dark tea bricks from Anhua county, Hunan province. The logo is printed by ink roller, while the front layer of the four packages are made of Chinese rice paper. The ink-splash technique is being used here to showcase the packages’ texture and give out a sense of traditional Chinese aesthetics. The relevant product information of the dark tea brick is sewed on the front layer of the package using seaming technique. In this way, the tea brick is showcased in a shape that’s similar to an ancient book waiting to be read and explored by the consumers. Two illustrations on the sides represent the dark tea’s origin, Anhua county, which connected the Silk Road and the Ancient Tea Horse Road in ancient China, telling China’s incredible tea culture.
