The idea is extracted from I Ching, the ancient texts of Taoism, which explains the relationship between growth and decline. In order to reduce the amount of people who stand in line waiting for the female toilet, I “lend” the stalls in the male toilet to women. By this, I wish to balance the usage of both side’s toilet and achieve the equality of using public toilets.
To give users a safe and private space, one of the doors will be locked up while that of another side is being opened, and it will be unlocked after the user leaves. It soothes the line outside the female toilet, and also guarantee the privacy in male toilet, making man and women respect each other, and effectively decrease useful space in the same perspective.
