Inspired by the story of the Tower of Babel, this board game is designed to make use of the remaining multilingual lead types in the formation of a tower, all while describing our diverse heritage.Through this game, The Alphabet Press hopes to enlighten people on the history of letterpress printing in Malaysia and at the same time, highlight the diversity of languages in this country — which has led to the existence and need for these multilingual lead types. For eight decades, they were housed and later hidden within one singular space, not unlike the cultural melting pot that Malaysia will always be.
