MOEA and MOTC introduce design to public transportation. Two new routes via Suhua Highway were launched by three service providers on January 6, 2020. TDRI led the two professional design teams for the execution, targeting branding, bus exterior design, information design, and interior optimization. Through subtraction strategy, co-creation is facilitated to improve public transit experience.
Starting from the point of environmental tending, this project brings a new environmental integration system into Pingtung DaTung Senior High School. The outdoor storage of cleaning supplies and recycling units on each floor are both designed with the hope that students will be inspired to appreciate the importance of the environment and cultivate aesthetic awareness.

“Phases of Water” is a is a public art project located in the Building of Science, National Cheng Kung University(NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan. Water, the fundamental understanding of science, is used as the concept in this project. Three phases of water are represented by geometric composition with 3 different materials. Capturing spatial characteristics from artists’ sense of environment, 3 places, as an important part of performing, are chosen in responding to the 3 phases of water.

The color of doorplates is inspired by the research “Searching for color of Matsu”. The sea color around Dongyin is a mix of pale blue-green with hints of grey. Usually each doorplate needs a single template. Our production method, however, greatly reduced the cost of manufacturing a single plate, from 400 to 14. Considering the strong wind of Matsu and the granite surface of Matsu Stone is uneven, and the divided doorplates can reduce the potential risk of falling due to incomplete attachment.
