Located between Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay, The Future of Us Pavilion follows the grand tradition of architectural structures that evoke a dialogue between built form and nature in the tropics. The Pavilion’s intricate form and composition, derived from extensive structural and environmental analyses, encapsulate the possibilities that technology already affords us today and hint at the forms we may find more familiar in the years ahead.
Completed in August 2019, it is the largest mass timber building to date (202,000sf), and the first large-scale mass timber university housing in the US. Shaped by the concept of “a cabin in the woods,” building and landscape are woven together by a serpentine band of student living spaces defining three protected and distinctive courtyard spaces. Adohi Hall creates a new residential college with an emphasis on a creative live learn environment within a relaxed, informal, tree-lined landscape.
The mission of this Glass Studio renovation was to challenge the existing isolated, expressionless building.
New façade and massing are introduced through the delicate concerns of material, scale, viewing experience, structure redesign, circulation, sustainable design. Not only successfully overcome the limit of narrow interior, expand the auditorium to exterior, but also provide the unique scene of real-time glass making show- A Live House to present Glass Craftsmanship.
The design follows the world outlook of Six-Directions in Buddhism, and integrates the architecture into environment in the Six Directions of East, West, South, North, Sky and Earth , as if it grew naturally from the wild. The project creates a natural and peaceful space, a place that can help people slow down to be close to nature and oneself in the face of rapid and fierce urbanization upsurge nowadays.
Spacial framework is extended with more possibilities and creates an attractive and explorative land in this design case. Art is reflected in every detail. The space shows its amazing beauty under the changing natural lighting, every angle of view tells the ingenuity of the design team.
The project is a private museum of dried fish maws (also known as swim bladders), which is located in Shoutou City, China. The client has been interested in collecting aged fish maws for several decades. With a view to communicating the culture and value of fish maws, he entrusted the designer to create a neat space for displaying his collection.

We imagine a shopping space where there is no pressure but only comfort to see and feel. We expect users can capture a sense of serenity and nature as if they are in a forest cottage, surrounded by mother earth. The essence of commercial space is brought back to human interactions, without unnecessary design, so that people can focus on one another in a pleasant and relaxing environment.
“Aqua Health Clinic”, gets rid of the ancient background of old medicine cabinets and smell of aged medicinal herbs. It attempts to use cosmetic SPA and technological atmosphere to twist the old impression of traditional Chinese medicine. This place enables people to jointly shape the contemporary 5-senses culture through space, diet, and SPA, as well as experience the ancient internal and external health cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine.
