Located at an alley in the heart of Taipei City, A Table is an innovative private kitchen and bar that incorporates new functions and energy into the design.
It is 100 years since this building standing in the Qianmen, the center of Beijing. Beijing is a city in the leading position of the world and full of history. This project is placed in the central area of the district where there are plenty of elements and contradiction between old and new existing.
The black one makes people feel calm, while the white one is refreshing. And the gray box (the seating area with a hue of gray), is of storytelling glamour. The three boxes with different colors are interpenetrated with each other, adding a sense of layering to the overall space.
Creating a variety of spatial qualities was equally important so as to offer clients multiple experiences and dining options. The lighting and decorative schemes also take these variations into account so as to always provide the adequate scale.
HEY is a natural greeting to friends, while BIRDS are everywhere in rainforests where grow best coffee beans. Located in CBD of Guangzhou, the 3rd largest city in China, HEY BIRD specialty coffee meets the challenge on offering high taste in coffee and its environment.
We want to combine classical and modern elements to create a traditional Italian wine cellar atmosphere in Taipei. We use the reclaimed bricks to create a leisurely dining environment in the warm colors of the incandescent lamps.
Upon entering the bookstore, visitors are immediately greeted with a Knowledge Map: a compilation of highly recommended classic and influential books. This map serves as the main point of reference for the store layout and book selection.
Movies played in cinema are images projected from the little lens of the projector to the large screen. This Cinema applies the theory of projection as the theme, bringing the movie element to the entire space.
This cinema design drew inspiration from the refraction of sound waves during transmission. The design concept is carried out consistently throughout the interior and created this unprecedented design.
When designing this cinema, the designers recreate a virtual world of architecture – showing us a combination of real life and virtual elements. To reflect this concept in reality. The designers hope to create a real-life scene in a virtual world – just like the virtual world in the movies, creating buildings one by one.
