The brown bear is Finland’s national animal and the symbol of nature in the country. “Getting close to nature in the Finnish way” is the message this educational institution in Qingdao, China wishes to convey. Therefore, two houses symbolizing integration are adopted in combination with mother and child brown bears composed of geometric patterns in the visual design while green color is used to make the design more modern.
