Taipei as an Adaptive city/ Design in motion
Begin with a historical point of view, Taipei city was introduced as a highly adaptive city in The WDC 2016 Taipei Bid video(World Design Capital 2016 Taipei Bid video).
Through the artwork, the philosophy of artists’, and designers’ life evoked audience to bring out their subconscious awareness positively.
Taipei as a sustainable city with the culture conserved as part of our education foundation, lighting up Taiwan, and broadcasting the world Oriental spirit.
Looking back in the past, the flow of time, changing in visible or invisible, depicts faces appear today in Taipei City. The traces of using and living in the city, and the increase or decrease of the living space, all shaped the different settlements and blocks in the city, and finally pieced together the city of Taipei. Today we embrace Taipei with “Sincerity” to experience its real looks, and through a broader view of design thinking, we sift the wheat from the chaff and so that Taipei is constantly purified and evolved.
