Located at City Gallery, 'Envisioning Beyond Legacy' is a multimedia exhibition to showcase the planning and infrastructure achievements of Hong Kong over the past 25 years, and the future developments. Interactive installations and games are heavily designed to drive self-exploration.

Firstly, a captivating 270-degree LED screen allures visitors 'walk' into the video and 'experience' Hong Kong’s past, present and future. Strong visual effect generated contagious emotion and resonance how Hong Kong was transformed from a fishing village to an economic powerhouse in Asia and the growth engines of GBA.

Moving to the exhibition area divided in two zones, the ‘Building a New Era for Hong Kong’ zone introduces how Hong Kong has become a liveable, competitive and sustainable Asia’s World City through 100'' interactive pillars. An interactive L-shaped LED screen is the core piece that highlights future developments. A magnified Hong Kong map which embedded motion tracking sensors is designed for public to explore the projects on their own initiative. Stepping on the spots to trigger project details instantly. This visual effect creates a clear geographic blueprint to comprehend the linkage and synergy of all projects.

‘Building the Islands of the Future’ zone introduces the development of Artificial Islands in Central Waters. Visitors are invited to join an interactive game to co-create their ideal community. The back-end system will consolidate data from players, upload to the cloud, and display real-time. Wavy-shaped PalmEco boards made by recycled palm fibre were widely used for eco-friendliness.

Crucially, this inclusive exhibition is barrier-free. Audio guide, braille, tactile guide paths and stair chair were provided purposely for visitors' accessibility.
