Donyhung Construction Ltd.’s business entity has branched out into steel materials, construction, real estate development and other relative fields, with a complete and stable industrial chain. The two core elements that enable its sustainable operation and quality assurance are communication and innovation.

To embody these two core elements, we have decided to make the two most important spaces: the large conference room and the virtual reality research room a most distinctive presence. The two spaces stacked up as a large box floating in the office area. The east side of the box is adjacent to the terrace garden with full height windows facing the street and the public, while the west side is a transparent glass partition that allows workers to be exposed to natural light and views to the outdoors. The white walls on both north and south sides are composed of whiteboards and television cabinets with storage and multimedia functions. The entire volume is merely detached to the slabs; hence the void is considered as an intermediary space to increase the possibility of interaction between the upper and lower floors, and the original structures such as steel beams, columns, decks and equipment of the open space are also displayed without concealment. The space's hierarchy and structure center around this floating box and then expand outward, with the outermost area being the executive offices and service spaces and the center being the open office area.

Unlike the simple gray & white color scheme of the open office area on the 3rd floor, the executive space on the 4th floor is based on a warm earth tone. The staircase surrounded by a bronze-colored steel mesh wall creates a sense of ritual or delight when moving vertically between two floors with different atmosphere.
