The "twdesign.tw" event invited 22 highly influential and popular design teams to come together and convey the changes in the Taiwanese design landscape. The venue's main stage is the Design Zone, based on the concept of an island. The expo's imagery plays with the ideas associated with Penglai Commercial Port, which was once a center of economic activity in Kaohsiung; here, 22 containers hold the designs from the 22 teams. The containers are arranged in a majestic circle to represent a burst of infinite design energy, and will make Design Zone an exhibition that draws the tremendous discussion and acclaim.
