Building upon the "Illuminate Thirteen Layer Heritage" public art exhibition held at the historic site of Shui-Nan-Dong Smelter by Taipower in 2019, the "Golden Symphony, Overture" in 2022 will integrate the recently restored heritage site, the Jin-Gua-Shi Shinto Shrine, as the main venue. Using augmented reality (AR) technology, the event aims recreate vanished historical scenes and incorporate valuable historical element Shimenawa (sacred rope) hang on the Torii gate. The Shimenawa was hand crafted by the renowned straw weaving master, Mr. Li Long. Together, they will present a complete historical panorama that blurs the line between reality and virtuality. In addition, the "Golden Symphony: Overture" collaborated with HORSE Dance Theatre, Bulareyaung Dance Company, and TNUA School of Dance to organize a three-day event from September 9th to 11th, 2022, leading the audience to traverse the golden years of the Jin-Gua-Shi mining town.
