The Young Pin Design Award is the official award of the Young Designers’ Exhibition (YODEX), the largest student design exhibition in the world. It is awarded to Taiwanese college and university graduates in the field of design. Best Design winners are awarded a certificate and cash prize at the award ceremony during YODEX. Together with the Golden Pin Design Award, the Young Pin Design Award seeks to support up-and-coming designers, showcasing Taiwan’s design talent.

A buoy is a simple landmark. As it floats, the uncertain range which it frames is considered as a symbolic representation of space. This gives people more interpretation of space. The story will use the concept of a buoy to reveal the relationship between people to people in life. The main role is a swimmer. The story describes that the main role takes action through classification, anticipating the behavior of others. However, in the event, the state of the frame is sometimes clear and sometimes vague. The “Fool” card with a number of zero in the Tarot card represents that under the social structure full of restrictions, there are still people who can break through the restrictions, travel freely like a fool, and are courageous enough to try new things without any restraint. People think they are fools, and they are still at ease, because we know: Even if the effort can only be in exchange for 0 points, when two hard-working 0 points touch together, we would be ∞.
