The Taitung County Government Cultural Affairs Department has been actively promoting culture and design in recent years. As a result, they commissioned the creation of the“Taitung Arts and Culture Center.” This platform integrates various information and presents it in a fresh and innovative manner, developing a visual identity to provide a comprehensive experience for image recognition.

To capture the essence of Taitung's free-spirited and unconstrained artistic creations, the focus is on the unique characteristics of the art creators themselves. Taitung's wild and untamed landscapes serve as the backdrop, depicting the passion of artists freely expressing and showcasing their creations in this environment.

The overall visual identity design is inspired by this concept, featuring illustrations of figures in different poses and local plant as the main visual elements. The illustrations are presented in a tactile, rough style with textured dots and rugged strokes. Vibrant and lively colors are chosen, with reduced saturation to enhance the richness and energy of Taitung without losing its vibrant essence. Through these diverse visual elements, the platform showcases its multifaceted nature, extending into a comprehensive identity system based on Taitung's unique cultural and geographical landscapes for future marketing and promotional use.

Simultaneously, to convey the focused creative nature of local artists, the visual characteristics of printmaking and woodcarving are incorporated into the typography, drawing inspiration from these art forms. The typography features elevated letterforms with sharp strokes, reflecting the untamed side of Taitung.
