In 2022, Nuit Blanche Taipei are about to enter Shilin. Each person holds memories of Shilin, a language of history, trends, and the common people. It is a world of culinary exploration and a juxtaposition of old and new architectural scenery. The century-old venue exudes a sense of futurism. This year, let us freely edit and vividly awaken Shilin. Turning around, in the cinematic scenes, we see ourselves.
The key visual features a circular multi-cutout design, integrating urban codes, street imagery, limited time, and the crossing of reality and illusion. It presents the Nuit Blanche multiple explorations within a 12-hour timeframe. Bright neon colors depict the period from sunset to sunrise, where the magical and colorful sky intertwines with the bustling scenery of Shilin. This interpretation embodies the distinctive characteristics of this year's Nuit Blanche, shuttling between the realms of "natural and artificial". The typography design is based on "Nuit Blanche" and transformed into various digital symbols representing this year's theme. Examples include the QR code symbol, which has gained significant utility due to epidemic prevention measures, as well as commonly used symbols for location, routes, time, and lists in daily life.
