"Letters from distant mountains" is a product series by the brand GuZuo. The concept is that tea drinkers get to know tea in its original form. To achieve this, the focus is on the production area, the mountains where the tea is cultivated. Consumers get the feeling that they received mail from the tea mountains. A post stamp on the package shows the tea mountain. The packaging can be unfolded after opening and it turns into a letter. Written there are informations about the history and the taste of the tea, as well as the method of preparation. Like on a map there are also graphics of the other tea mountains. All information are on this one sheet of paper, which when folded, turns into a package again, closed by one single elastic band. This package is not only cost-saving, but also environmentally friendly, at the same time it transports the feeling and taste of the Chinese tea culture.
