2025 Golden Pin Design Award Announces Secondary Selection Shortlist
The 2025 Golden Pin Design Award has officially concluded its preliminary judging. As of today (July 16), the shortlist of entries advancing to secondary selection has been released. This year’s call for entries received enthusiastic responses from across 19 regions—including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Poland, the United States, Australia, Germany, Canada, Belgium, and Georgia—resulting in a diverse pool of outstanding design works. A total of 972 entries have been selected to advance to the next stage.
The secondary and final selection are scheduled to take place on September 1 (Mon) and September 6 (Sat) at the Hakka Cultural Center in Taipei. Entries that pass the secondary selection will receive the "Golden Pin Design Award" mark and advance to the final selection, competing for the prestigious "Best Design Award" and "Special Award."

The award ceremony will be held in early December at the Taipei Performing Arts Center, where the winners of the Best Design of the Year will be officially revealed. Finalist announcements will be made prior to the event.
