The 2026 Golden Pin Design Award recently completed its Preliminary Selection and officially announced the Secondary Selection Advancement List today (July 8). This year, the award attracted exceptional entries from 23 countries and regions—including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Korea, India, Indonesia, Poland, Turkey, the Philippines, Brazil, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Sweden, and Germany. Out of a highly competitive field, a total of 991 entries stood out and successfully advanced to the Secondary Selection.

This year's Secondary and Final Selections will be held on August 21 (Fri.) and August 26 (Wed.), respectively, at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. Entries that pass the Secondary Selection will be recognized as Golden Pin Design Award winners and granted the right to use the Design Mark. Meanwhile, they will also secure their spots in the Final Selection to further compete for the highest honors: the "Best Design Award" and the "Special Award." 

Guidelines regarding the submission and return of physical entries, along with other important notices, will be sent separately via email to the contact addresses provided during registration. 

The highlight of the year—the grand Award Ceremony—will take place in late November at the Taipei Performing Arts Center, where the ultimate winners of the "Best Design Award" will be unveiled. The finalists will be officially announced prior to the event.
