The 12 songs on the Healing Island were conceived and inspired by aromatherapist June Wen, and renowned crossover composer-musician and recipient of both Golden Horse and Golden Melody awards CinCin Lee. Each song spotlights a plant species found only in Taiwan and, in words, notes, and tempo, weaves together a subliminal landscape suffused with rich, natural aromas. This collection explores the unique allure of this island nation and celebrates the subtle yet potent powers of its endemic flora.
