Taichung Green Museumbrary, a spatial fusion of the Taichung Public Library and Taichung Art Museum, was designed by SANAA. The visual identity stems from an imaginative interpretation of architecture, refined through careful examination of concepts and details. The minimalist symbol-mark is highly recognizable, using abstract geometric forms to connect the architecture with imagery of drawings and books—symbolizing interdisciplinary fusion and infinite possibilities.
Jury's Evaluation
With a minimal and precise visual language, this identity conveys the institution’s mission to connect art and knowledge with clarity and grace. From line work to proportion and rhythm, every element is carefully tuned, supported by a well-organized system. The result is a refined visual identity that feels both mature and lasting.
