TaiSugar Circular Village is a first housing project in Taiwan focuses on circularity. It adopts the regenerative concept where the outputs of one system are the inputs for another, a closed loop system. In this development, materials are designed to be re-use in the future and achieve through prefab/precast construction, modular design, and rental system. It generates its own solar energy, collects rainwater to re-use, and has a community farm that produces food - a self-sufficient community.
