POWERbänk is a fictional start-up that aims to revolutionize electric vehicle charging with a convenient charging service.

Context
In the coming years, the lack of public charging stations will become more and more noticeable. With this project, we want to create an alternative solution for people who cannot charge at home. In doing so, we want to contribute to the sustainable mobility shift and open up access to electromobility to more people.

Our concept is that e-car pilots can order a battery charge via app when needed. We then deliver a mobile battery pack to the parking location of the e-car, connect it to the vehicle and pick it up again after the charging process has been completed.

Since customers only specify when they want the vehicle to be recharged, but not exactly when the delivery and charging will take place, we can plan better, combine and thus avoid multiple trips to the same area.
In this way, we always deliver to several customer vehicles at once and plan the most sensible route for them. This increases efficiency and sustainability.
Additionally we reduce traffic in cities because we charge the vehicles at the actual parking location.
