The concept of the brand and its shop space originated from the founder of the brand, Xu, giving the brand a personalized, friendly, and laid-back image as well as hospitality. The coffee shop space is designed to resemble an extension of Xu's home, decorated with personal characteristics. The design team, in agreement with Xu, has incorporated residential design approaches into the commercial space, including sections planning such as the " garden," "kitchen," "dining bar," and "living room." The core element of the design revolves around the concept of "home," and familiar furniture items from our daily lives, such as sofas, lamps, green plants, floor lamps, and stereos, have been incorporated. This familiar layout, form, texture, and atmosphere create a more comfortable and cozy space experience, providing the space with a simple everyday beauty, thus conveying the brand's friendly, open, and inclusive attitude. The west side of the building takes in too much sunlight in the afternoon, so using common curtain would result in excessive heat inside the space. To address this, the team opted to completely open the facade while introducing multi-level sunlight, thereby transforming the drawbacks of the original space into its most prominent and advantageous feature. This approach also reflects the design concept of an open family living room. The space layout is divided into multiple squares, with customized 10x10 square wooden flooring that aligns with the spatial composition logic, creating a unique rhythm throughout the space with equal proportions. This block layout also allows for flexibility in accommodating subsequent activities. The presence of easily storable camping chairs and rectangular wooden tables inspired by ping-pong tables adds to the space's versatility.
